Abstract

In summary this project proposes to evaluate: • Water quality of influent and effluent at the Pondicherry Sewage Treatment Facility • The basic hydrology of groundwater under and around the Treatment Facility • To identify and set up an appropriate borehole groundwater monitoring program to evaluate what impact recharge from the Waste Water Treatment Facility and associated Solid Waste Facility is having on groundwater. • To rapidly identify the scope for recycling after proper processing of sewage
