Abstract
The aim of the study is to investigate the usage of fertilizers and pesticides for the major crops in the villages around the Auroville bioregion. Objective of the study 1. To study the current usage of chemical fertilizers and pesticides in the villages. 2. To conduct a baseline survey about the sales of fertilizers and pesticides in the local market. 3. To quantify (extrapolate) the usage of fertilizers in the selected villages.
