Abstract
From the Conclusion: Though sustainable development may seem to many to be a boundless concept, with uncountable theories and arguments about its definitions, and the ability of communities, nations and regions to achieve common or even locally agreed upon solutions, there are contextual cases where, it can be argued, sustainable development is taking place. Auroville is one of these cases.
