Abstract
This thesis is a theoretical and practical approach of the problematic of Self Integral Education towards an involved wisdom by establishing a vision both between different cultural Eastern and Western concepts and which is based on my life experience in an atypical place in India for 20 years.
The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first three are theoretical, with ideas and concepts to introduce the last chapter on field research.
A lifelong self education to an involved wisdom lies here through: philosophy by updating the pitfalls or the aid of philosophical wisdom; difficulties of our societies to implement education promoting the emergence of free and autonomous individuals; noetic process in relation to temporality and consciousness and the possibilities of an integral education at any time of life to move towards an integral human exploration.
The last chapter is about the research in Auroville, in India, an atypical place and whose objective is to create a human unity with a human cross-section of human diversity.
The concepts on this place rely on very different representations of those used in Occident and they are presented in the introduction to the evidence gathered through interviews.
This research is complex and incomplete and opens a dialogue between challenges and opportunities of access to an self integral education for all.
